"Our membership in the Manteca Chamber of Commerce validates the saying "we are stronger working together than we are apart." The Chamber and the SBDC are successful when the business community is successful. As a Chamber member, information about SBDC services (most which are free) is distributed far beyond than what we can do as a stand-alone organization. Belonging to the Manteca Chamber of Commerce has been a very positive experience for both myself and Agape Villages Foster Family Agency. When I first joined the chamber I jumped in with both feet (my usual style) and signed up to become an ambassador. This helped me to meet many people in the community. These people became not only good friends, but also very helpful to Agape Villages. Many of the people I have met through the chamber volunteer for Agape events as well as serve on our Advisory Council.

I now serve on the Board of Directors for the chamber and find it very rewarding. While I am serving I am also meeting others in the community and building relationships. I appreciate the Manteca Chamber and all it has done for Agape Village Foster Family Agency as well as me personally.

I have been a member of various Chambers’ of Commerce for the past 30 years. Since moving to Manteca 5 years ago it was a “No Brainer” for me to join the Manteca Chamber of Commerce. Fully 50% of my work is generated through my contacts and networking in the Chamber.

In addition to keeping abreast of issues important to me both as a resident and business owner, the Chamber provides continued opportunity to meet other businesses for important networking opportunities. I can’t understand why a business wouldn’t be a member of this well run organization.
