What is a Chiropractic Neurologist? – A Chiropractor who has taken a three year course of post-graduate study, specializing in the field of neurology. I am board certified in Neurology How is this different from other chiropractors? – Additional training results in greater technical skill in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. What does a Chiropractic Neurologist do? – Influences the nervous system by affecting the sensory (touch, taste, smell, sound etc.) and motor (strength, coordination) control systems. Why would I go to this doctor? – To get answers to health problems that have not resolved with home remedies, other professional help or to simply receive excellent health care. This specialty area of training enables me to not only help those with headaches, neck pain and backaches but also those who (for example) have had peripheral nerve injuries, brain and spinal cord injuries, balance problems, ADD/ADHD, strokes and chronic unresolved pain. My office is equipped with an on site X-ray and a variety of specialized non-invasive diagnostic instruments and innovative therapeutic tools. With more than 20 years of practice experience and post graduate training I provide a superior level of technical skill and treatment programs that are unique to each individual. I am a Qualified Medical Examiner appointed by the State of California to evaluate injured workers and I have a certification in Permanent Medical Impairment Rating. I have given many depositions and have testified in court on numerous occasions for patients injured in motor vehicle accidents. I am a preferred provider for most insurance carriers and a participating provider for Medicare. I do not accept medi-cal (the state funded program) but for those who have this coverage, I charge the same rates as Medicare. My initial consultation (history and question/answer) is no charge. During this consultation my staff will call your insurance carrier to find out if you have insurance coverage. At the end of your consultation you will know: A.) can I help you and B.) what is it going to cost. You then decide the direction of your health care. This will give you (or someone you know) the opportunity to talk with a very well qualified doctor with no obligation or expense.
